Where are my estimates and customers stored?
In your browser, on your device. They are not uploaded to us. That also means they don't follow you to a new phone on their own, and clearing your browser data removes them, so keep the PDFs you send. Use "Back up to a file" under Your estimates now and then.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. After your first visit the page is saved on your device, so you can write and copy estimates with no connection.
I changed phones. How do I get Pro and my estimates back?
On your old phone, tap the Pro badge at the top and copy your private Pro link, then open it on the new phone. If the old phone is gone, email us from the address you paid with. Then use "Restore from a file" with your last backup.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in the browser on your phone, tablet or computer. Add it to your home screen if you want it one tap away.
How do I cancel Pro?
Use the manage-subscription link in your receipt email. It takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for, and there's nothing to phone in.
Does it work out what sales tax I owe?
It multiplies the rate you enter by the lines you tick. Sales tax on labor and materials differs by state and trade, so use the rate and rules your state gives you.
Is an estimate from here a contract?
It's a priced offer with a signature line. Whether a signed estimate is enough for your jobs depends on your state and license. For bigger jobs, use your own contract alongside it.
